Emma writes a letter to Pär Johansson, founder of the Glada Hudik theater. She is determined to realize her dream of becoming a model, and the letter becomes the starting point for a fantastic journey from Hudiksvall to New York. Emma, Nicklas, Ida, Kitty and Alexander work hard to make their catwalk perfect, but also to show the world that everyone has the right to shine. An adventure with room for reflection, laughter and tears, and with charachters impossible to forget.
